Repeat Prescriptions

Requests for repeat prescriptions may be made by filling in a prescription request slip at the surgery, by post (if a stamped addressed envelope is enclosed and we will return it to you) or online via the link at the top of this page.

Please note registration is required for our online service.

Electronic Prescribing is available here. Once issued the prescription, with the exception of Controlled drugs (such as morphine) is sent directly to the pharmacy of your choice. You will need to register at the pharmacy to use this service.

You may need to be seen by a doctor or have blood tests done if they are due for the medication you are on. If this is the case we will try to contact you but if we are unable to do so we may be unable to issue your medication until you have booked the appropriate appointment.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.

Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.

Please allow two full working days for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.
