Welcome to Red Lion Surgery
With patients' needs at the heart of everything we do, our website has been designed to make it easy for you to gain instant access to the information you need. As well as specific practice details such as opening hours and how to register, you’ll find a wealth of useful pages covering a wide range of health issues along with links to other relevant medical organisations.
Our staff work hard to provide a good service, whilst we may not get it right 100% of the time, we certainly don't deserve the abuse we sometimes receive.
Every day General Practice staff across the UK receive verbal, and sometimes physical abuse from the very people they are trying to help. This abuse must stop. It is not ok for our staff to be subjected to aggressive and abusive language when they are doing their job. The words that patients use stay with our staff long after they have finished their shift. Some become hardened to it, some think it’s part of the job. Others go home and cry, some might leave because they just can’t face another day of rude and aggressive language.
Please watch this video which has been made by staff from UK general practices and remember, we are always doing our best often in very difficult and challenging circumstances with limited resources.
We are being inundated by requests for information about the covid vaccination programme.
We are not a designated site to administer Covid Vaccines at this moment in time. Please do not contact the practice to enquire about having the vaccine as all eligible patients will be called by the practice and given details of when and where they will receive their vaccine. All Vaccines will be given at Alderwood Medical Practice, Longford Road, Cannock WS11 1QN

Please follow the link to Staffordshire Council below, Are you doing your bit?
Please ensure that if you enter Cannock Chase Hospital, you must wear a protective face covering. This is to protect you and our staff, minimising the risk of Covid-19. You may not be allowed on the site without a protective face covering.
